DEVELOPING SKILLS OF A NETWORK MARKETER

Developing skills of leadership certainly isn't the easiest thing to do,
but it is definitely possible. One thing I know for a fact, once you begin to
develop these life changing skills things will never be the same. Why you ask?

Setting Goals and Achieving Them

Once you have decided to take action an step up to a position of leadership you will have to set small, achievable goals. It has been said that goals are a roadmap to success. So when setting a goal don't be vague, be specific with details and always write down your goal with a date to reach that specific goal. Post this written goal somewhere that it will be seen 2 or 3 times a day. Once you have achieved this goal you will be one step closer to reaching your destination. Keep up the good work and eventually you will achieve the level of leadership that you desire.

Knowledge Is Power

It is your responsibility to learn all that you can about the company you are representing, the CEO of the company, and you must know everything possible about the products and services you offer. The more that you know the more powerful you will become. In the long run this will be the big payoff!

What To Do With All This Knowledge

We are in the business of changing peoples lives by listening to their needs and what they want. We have to listen to what they are saying and not cutting them short. We show them that we truly care by spending 80% of the time listening and 20% interacting. By helping others we help ourselves as leaders, benefiting everyone. People are looking for leaders they can trust and put their confidence in.

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES TO DEVELOP AND LOOK FOR IN OTHERS

In Network Marketing it is imperitive to become a leader and to help those around you to do the same. Leaders are people who lead by example, are organized planners, effective communicators and goal setters, they are constantly re-evaluating and modifying there plans of action. Leaders lead a life of personal accountability and they never, ever give up. The word 'failure' doesn't even exist in their world. A leader embraces change and sets the pace for everyone to follow their lead. They never stop sponsoring, training, or inspiring.

A leader never prejudges because they know that the ordinary can become the extra-ordinary in a short amount of time if properly trained. They know that when you sponsor someone it is the beginning of a proccess, a process of duplication. This leads to the birth of new leaders and the proccess continues. This is the why! This is when you have realized that the sky is the limit!
